A customer needed a special shaped rectangular tank for a specific requirement.
There was a bit of doubt about how much the long side would bulge under normal hydrostatic conditions, so we ran an FEA analysis and found theoretically it would bulge out 17mm. We added an internal baffle which resulted in the long side having a minimal and acceptable distortion
