Batch and inline emulsifiers give a high shear mixing action that can’t be achieved efficiently by other means. The inline emulsifier can be used as a pump so only one machine needs to be purchased.
The mixing process of an emulsifier is to spin a rotor past a fixed stator usually by means of an electric motor to create a high shearing action. The aim of the shearing action is to blend products that would not normally blend together in basic agitation such as oil and water.
