Product lump breaker for a nuclear science organisation
A low volume powder transfer system required that the feed product was broken up so that the 50Ø auger could then transfer the broken product.
The shaft penetrations required a shaft seal – gland packing type and, due to the size, it was decided that one gear motor would be able to drive both shafts efficiently.
