Upgrade to Existing Anchor/Shear Mixer

We recently successfully designed, fabricated and installed a shear mixer to replace the existing mixer. The original mixer was a 22kw 4 pole motor with a single shear blade. This was replaced with a 75kw 4 pole motor EXD rated, [VSD was also supplied] having 2 of shear blades fitted. Physical size constraints required the motor to be set up on an extra extended pedestal which then required bracing to be fitted to help distribute the additional load of the motor and ensure stability of the complete assembly once in operation. The customer reports a significant improvement in mix quality and reduction in mix times.
