A customer secured a number of high quality pharmaceutical grade tanks, but needed a heating jacket fitted along with other modifications.

Typically unless a secondhand tank or other items are nearly exactly what you want, extensive modifications can result in the end price being higher than if you bought it new. I this case new vessels like this would be cost prohibitive.

The cladding was cut off and on this particular vessel, there was a stiffening ring part way up the side which complicated things a bit, but we were able to fit 2 separate jackets with a linking manifold.

A new sparge pipe was fitted through the side and nozzles in the top were modified a little for items like a sightglass and a light point.
