I had an email from a good customer asking when would the blender with the Camair Industries label on have been built. I could go to our paper files and identify it was March 1998.
A 2000-liter ribbon blender is still going strong, the only maintenance it has probably had changes to the gland packing on the shaft seals.
That’s just off 25 years of service, or if you were to assume actual mixing time of say 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, say 48 weeks in a year for 24 11/12 = 23,920 hours of service – that’s quality.
