IBC’s [Intermediate Bulk Containers] play an important part in increasing efficiency in the production facility. The typical role they play is to allow a full batch of mixed product from the blender to be dumped quickly, so the blender can then be loading and mixing for the next batch. The IBC can either be stored or taken to the filling machine for the batch to be packed off as needed
Another advantage of the stainless IBC is that it can be reused over and over again with very little in terms of cleaning required to maintain GMP. A portable sprayball can be inserted in the top for a simple clean operation #food.
