Stainless Tank and Mix rebuilt a 3000 litre vacuum / pressure rated with steam jacket, contra-mix kettle handcrafted as a replacement for an existing vessel which was past its use by date and continued to break, and had given more trouble than it was worth.
A redesign of the mixer cage assembly resulted in a far stronger and cleaner design. The product is quite viscous and the dimensions were not favourable to any lightweight design.
Additionally we changed the shaft seal to a “Cinch” seal which means that when the seal needs replacing or any maintenance, it can be accessed from outside the vessel; previously the shaft seal required a confined space entry and was very difficult to reinstall.
Included was to remove the existing vessel and install the new vessel – something which in normal circumstances is straight forward, but in this case the vessel was buried under a “spaghetti junction” of pipework, and the existing pipework needed to fit back in place again. This install was undertaken with professionalism quality and in a timely manner:- another happy customer.
